First Bionic Burger in the World

Have you put your burger yet into the test? Most of us are aware that not only burgers has the unhealthy ingredients. It's our choice to learn and eat the right ingredients of anything we put in our mouth.

You may ask, how can I remember all the ingredients? One tip I have learned from a doctor's life experience he said; "if the ingredients are too many to read and understand then that tells you something not right..." We live in a techy world, there's no excuse to do our own research and engage on social media network of people with diverse experiences and knowledge when it comes to adulterated foods!

From YouTube by mrblue37

True story about a man who's been saving hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and Big Macs from McDonalds for over 18 years... and they look EXACTLY the same! Visit http://BionicBurger.com or

The First Wrist Watch Videophone in the World

LG-GD910Image by LGEPR via Flickr

The first wrist watch videophone in the world, the LG-GD910, was unveiled by LG at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas during February 2009. The future has arrived. You should be able to buy it in Europe late in 2009. For you technical buffs, this wristwatch phone is made with a metal case and curved tempered glass face. It is very compact at just 13.9 mm deep. There is a built in camera to allow the video phone calls and its 7.2 Mbps 3G HSDPA compatibility facilitates the high speed data transmission. There is a full touch screen interface and includes a blue-tooth headset .

This mobile phone also features voice recognition and text to speech (TTS) to make life better for us. So that you can also listen to music on your travels there is also a built in MP3 player. Another big advantage is that you can't lose your cell phone so easily if its strapped on your wrist. Dick Tracy will be a name not known to most of you. He used to be a comic strip detective hero in the 1950s. He had a science fiction wrist watch which doubled up as a 2 way radio. They probably thought it could not happen then.

Well 50 years later, LG have done a lot better and designed the LG-GD910 that is a watch that is a phone as well. in addition, it can also show video. This makes it the first wrist watch videophone in the world and should be available at late in 2009. The middle part of the 20th century became an era for thinking about the future. We were getting over World War II and people were very optimistic about the future. The internet was just beginning. There were lots of thoughts like this being planned which were basically based in the technology introduced because of the war. We were on the brink of travelling to the moon, then to the planets and stars of galaxies far away.

We did get to the moon but didn't make it much further into space but lots of the other inventions that were considered to be science fiction at that time have made living a lot easier for this generation. This specially applies in the area of communications. LG have now moved technology a big leap but you still will not necessarily be able to solve crimes as well as Dick Tracy did.

I have had to become the money advice expert for our family since times got tough. I like to pass on some tips that I find. This one is really just for information about the wrist watch videophone. The future has arrived with this wrist watch phone.

First Text of the Old Testament - History of Hebrew

The Hebrew Bible, called the Old Testament by Christians and the Tenach by Jews, is an Ancient Near Eastern text, which was written millennia ago within a time and culture that is vastly different from our own. The authors perspectives on life and the world around them is steeped with their own traditions, lifestyles, manners and thoughts. When reading and studying this text we can not interject our own cultural perspectives into the text, to do so would bring about interpretations and conclusions that are far removed from the authors intended meaning.

Let's take the concepts of the past and the future to demonstrate how important it is to recognize that Biblical concepts are sometimes the opposite of our own. We perceive of the past as behind us and the future as before us. The Hebrew word for the past is temul and the word for the future is mahher. Temul means "in front" while mahher means "behind" And therefore in Hebraic thought the past is in front of you and the future is behind you.

Why did the Ancient Hebrews perceive of time in this way? Because the past is known, it is laid out in front of you to see. while the future is not known and is therefore hidden behind you.

We will be examining the Hebrew alphabet, language, philosophy and culture to uncover the evidence that supports a perspective of these ancient Near Eastern texts that is very different from the way they are normally perceived and we will dig into the deeper meanings of these texts from an ancient perspective.

The First Hot Air Balloon

The history of modern hot air ballooning began in France in 1783. Two brothers, Joseph Michel and Jacques Etienne Montgolfiere, launched the first hot air balloon in September of 1783 with an odd trio of passengers - a sheep, a duck, and a rooster. The king and his court turned out to see the spectacle, and they were not disappointed. The balloon rose to more than 1000 feet and then floated down, safely returning its three passengers to the ground.

But the two brothers who became the inventors of modern air ballooning certainly didn't start life as inventors. Their father owned a paper mill, and made sure both of his sons received a good education. Joseph went to a private school and later started a chemical business before returning home to work in the mill with his father. Etienne studied as an architect, but also returned to the family business when his father retired.

In 1782 they became interested in understanding why smoke rose and whether it could be used to lift man into the sky. They began experimenting, moving from smaller balloons to larger ones. By the time they lifted the barnyard animals into the sky, they had already successfully launched an unmanned full-size balloon.

After the barnyard trio's successful flight, the brothers moved on to manned flight. In November 1783, they launched the first manned hot air balloon flight. Pilate de Rozier and the Marquis d'Arlandes were the pilots of the silk-and-paper balloon, and the two stayed aloft for about 25 minutes, ascending approximately 500 feet and traveling about 5 1/2 miles from their origination point in a Paris park.

Legend says the pilots gave champagne after landing to the local farmers to alleviate their fears of the suspicious craft descending from the sky, but he National Balloon Museum in Iowa disputes this story, saying research shows the balloon actually landed in an empty vineyard with no witnesses.

The first manned flight in a hot air balloon was quickly followed by the first gas balloon ride. Just 10 days after the Montgolfier's balloon carried its two human passengers into the sky, French physicist Jacques Alexander Charles launched the first manned gas balloon flight on December 1. It also started in Paris, but lasted much longer; the balloon stayed aloft 2 1/2 hours and traveled 25 miles.

Ballooning quickly took off from there. French balloonist Jean Pierre Blanchard and American John Jeffries became the first people to cross the English Channel in a hydrogen balloon. The crossing took two and a half hours, and nearly ended in disaster - the pilots had to toss most of their ballast overboard after the balloon unexpectedly lost gas and almost fell into the channel. Months later, Pilate de Rozier, one of the two pilots in the first manned Montgolfiere, became the first person to die in a balloon accident as he attempted to cross the Channel.

Blanchard later flew the first hot air balloon in North America, in 1793. But it wasn't until 1830 that Charles Ferson Durant became the first American to pilot a hot air balloon in North America. He lifted off from New York's Castle Garden to drop leaflets that contained a poem he had written about the joys of flight.

The sport never really took off, however, until 1960, when advances in balloon technology led to a new interest in hot air ballooning. Paul Yost, who became known as the father of modern hot air ballooning, piloted the first flight of a balloon sporting a new envelope and new propane burner system he developed. Suddenly the sport took off. By 1963, sport ballooning had become popular enough that the first U.S. National Hot Air Balloon Championships were held in Michigan.

Today there are about 5000 balloon pilots in the U.S. and a National Balloon Museum in Indiana.

Collecting First Editions For Pleasure Or Profit

If the idea of making money from a hobby appeals to you, then you should consider collecting first edition books. Let me give you a real-life example. If you had bought a copy of the Nobel laureate Seamus Heaney's first collection of poetry, Death of a Naturalist, in 1999 you would have paid less than £300. Today the same book would sell for at least £1,500. Giving you the double satisfaction of owning a valuable, rare and famous book - and of making a 400% profit in under seven years. Nor is this a one-off fluke. Experienced book collectors will tell you that with careful planning it is possible to regularly earn above average returns from this fascinating and enjoyable hobby. However, as with any 'alternative' investment, caution is advisable. You shouldn't invest money you may need back in a hurry or that you can't afford to lose.

Books become valuable for a variety of reasons. To begin with the author must be in demand. Collectibility is strongly influenced by fashion and circumstances. Immediately after John Banville's The Sea won the Man Booker Prize first editions of the book - previously available for under £40 - started changing hands for £160 and above. When Francis Coppola made a film of another great Irish classic, Bram Stoker's Dracula, first editions increased tenfold in value from around £800 to £8,000. Not that a film version guarantees success. First editions of Captain Corelli's Mandolin by Louis de Bernieres regularly sold for £700 before the film bombed at the box office in 2001, whereas now they barely make half this price.

Interest in an author is not enough. The book itself must be what collectors call a first edition. A best-selling book will be printed many times in different formats. With very few exceptions, the only version that will be of value is the first printing of a book that is offered for sale. Over the years millions of copies of Ulysses have been printed but it is the initial 1,000 run - published on James Joyce's fortieth birthday, 2nd February 1922, in Paris - that are worth the most money. Furthermore, of this edition, it is the 100 books actually signed by the author that command the highest prices.

Condition is another crucially important factor. If a book has been damaged, repaired or - in the case of modern novels - no longer has its dust jacket, the price will tumble. A signed first edition, on the other hand, will push the value up. This is especially true if there is a connection between the author and the recipient. Interestingly, rarity may have little or no effect on price. Speak to someone who specialises in antique books and you will discover that seventeenth and eighteenth century leather bound volumes, of which few copies may exist, are frequently worth only a few euros. By the same token, a relatively modern book that failed to sell, despite being a first edition and in short supply, is likely to be of no value.

In summary:

Always choose books you will enjoy owning. This way you will never regret your purchase.

Only buy first editions. All other editions are relatively worthless.

Buy the best condition books you can afford. If you are buying new, modern first editions do not read the books. Unread books are worth more.

Remember, rare does not automatically mean desirable.

What sort of books should you buy? Most dealers will advise you to specialise in a particular area. For instance, the value of literature related to medical discoveries is currently on the way up. Twenty years ago an off-print, signed edition of an article written by James Watson and Francis Crick, who discovered DNA, sold for £300. Another one recently came up for sale and made £18,000. I have friends who collect everything from books about the Russian royal family to children's 'pop-up's' and from modern first editions (relatively inexpensive if you buy when first published) to 19th century travel books. All offer potential for growth. For my own part, I am most interested in twentieth century Irish literature. Many of these authors are still alive (prices tend to increase when an author dies) and although the biggest names such as W B Yeats and Samuel Beckett (whose centenary is this year) are out of my league, a host of others - including Seamus Heaney, William Trevor, Molly Keane, Brian Moore, Flann O'Brien, and the late John McGahern - are still available at reasonable prices.

One final question that needs to be answered is where to buy. I would not, on the whole, recommend the internet. Sites such as Abe Books (abebooks.com), which offers more than 70 million volumes from over 13,000 dealers and sells over 20,000 books a day, are not for the inexperienced. Books are frequently described inaccurately and overvalued. Far better to buy at auction (all the major auction houses hold regular sales) or through a reputable dealer. Incidentally, once you know what you are looking for, you may be surprised by how much you can pick up in ordinary second-hand book shops, charity shops and even privately.

"Putting God First" The Most Important and Greatest Goal that We Can Aspire to in Life

When I was a new Christian, The Lord taught me many lessons about putting Him first.

I was raising my daughter, and I was always so concerned about her well-being and education. It seemed that my life was revolving around her.
One day, The Lord spoke to me that if I continued putting her first; He would have to take her home to Himself. He told me that she was “His” daughter, and that He had chosen me to raise her up in the way she was to go.

I was putting my daughter on a pedestal without realizing it.

Later, I was fixing up an old home, and it took me three months to paint the home, plaster the cracks and to clean it. I remember that I was just enjoying the home so much after I finished the work, and I would often think of how much I loved the home, the yard and the beauty there. The Lord again spoke to me, and He asked me, “Would you be willing to leave this home right now if I asked you to leave?“ I thought about it for a second, and I said, ”Yes, Lord“. He then allowed me to stay in the home for several years after that.

God requires first place in our lives as He did with Abraham when He told Abraham to sacrifice his beloved son. We always talk about the blessings of Abraham, but Abraham was totally obedient to God in being willing to obey God. We will be blessed when we put God first in every area of our lives.

The Lord taught me about money many times. I remember one day, when I was making plans to attend a Christian Breakfast Meeting that would cost $6.00 for myself and my daughter. At the time, I was going to school, and so it seemed like an extravagance, and I decided not to go because I needed the money for other things.

The afternoon before the Breakfast Meeting, my good friend came to my house, and she told me that The Lord spoke to her to come to my home and give me a specific amount of money. She then took six one dollar bills and counted them out in my hand. My daughter and I went to The Breakfast Meeting, and I learned that where God guides; He also provides.

Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.“

Our main concern must be to seek what is important in God's Kingdom above everything else. Most of all He requires our love for Him, and others, and to do His will in our lives.

We must always be willing to say Lord, “Not my will but Yours be done”. If we are not willing to say and pray that wonderful prayer; we need to ask The Holy Spirit to reveal what is blocking our total surrender to The Lord.

We are never to be striving after the attainment of money, reputation, prestige or titles because all that we should have will be given to us as we seek The Lord first. Our love for Him is first, and all else will fall into place when we love God above everything else in our lives.
Many ministries have fallen because their emphasis was raising more and more money. They had gotten off of the straight and narrow road which leads to the Kingdom of God.

Matthew 7:13, “ Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:“

Many Christians have gotten off the straight and narrow road in order to seek after the things of the world. The love of the world lured them onto an insidious side road.

1 John 2:15, “ Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.“

The Lord wanted the rich, young ruler to give up all of his worldly goods out of love for Him. We will all be tested in this area. God wants us to always care more for His commandments and His will than we do for our money and possessions. We must always be willing to give away all that we own if The Lord tells us to do that.

1 John 3:17, “ But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?“

God doesn't need our money, but money is a means of exchange, and when we refuse to use it according to The Lord's will and for His glorious purposes; it can become an idol. Money is a common idol, but an idol can be anything that separates us from putting God first in our lives.
An idol can be a husband, a wife, a child, our home, our savings, our jobs, our title, our education, our ministry and the list can go on and on. An idol is what we think about, talk about and seek after more than we think, talk about and seek The Lord, His Kingdom and His righteousness.
An idol is anything that has become a god in our lives. For those in sin, it could be alcohol, sexual lusts and/or perversions, gambling, pornography, adultery, fornication, lying, stealing and the list can go on ad infinitum.

We must always make sure that our source of strength, wisdom, love, joy, hope and faith is based in The Lord Jesus Christ. If we are looking to any other source for our contentment; we must repent and get right with God. We must come back to our first love of The Lord Jesus Christ.
Today, He is looking for those who will be sold out to Him and not to this world. The world is everywhere, and it permeates every area of our lives, but we must look beyond the world, and the things in this world.
We need to be like the five wise virgins, who were instantly ready and prepared to meet The Lord. The Holy Spirit in them was burning brightly. They had their eyes fixed and their hearts focused on their Lord. They were ready. Are you ready? Are you watching and waiting for Him?

Rev. 3:3, “ Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.“

None of us know when our time will come to meet Him. Our breath is as a vapor.

Luke 21:36, “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.“

We are commanded by The Lord Jesus Christ to “watch and pray”. Why? So that we will be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come upon this earth, and to be able to stand before The Lord Jesus Christ.

We are not to wait until a disaster comes, or to wait until we are ill or dying, but we need to get right with The Lord today. Now, during our good days; we are to seek The Lord with all of our hearts, and to put Him first in our lives.

Psalm 32:6, “ For this shall every one that is godly pray unto Thee in a time when Thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto Him.“

Some Christians during these times, think that they no longer need God or His wisdom, and some even think The Bible is old-fashioned, and that the things of God should be modernized. They use Madison Avenue techniques to raise huge sums of money, and they copy the music and entertainment of the world in order to attract people who love the world and its ways.
Matthew 7:21, Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:22, Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy Name? and in Thy Name have cast out devils? and in Thy Name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 7:23, And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.

These leaders cannot make true disciples of Jesus Christ because they themselves are not disciples of Jesus Christ. These “religious” leaders are making their own disciples which are manipulated into their own images. They are not making disciples of Jesus Christ because those that follow them will not be able to know or find the true love, fruit and character of The Lord Jesus Christ in them. They will find a counterfeit Jesus that is formed in their own image.

Their main goal is to gain more and more popularity which then produces more money, power and prestige. They sacrifice the real truth found in the whole Word of God in order to win many people to themselves. They find Scriptures that entice their followers into believing that their luxurious lifestyles are Biblical. People who are not grounded in the true Word of God are easily deceived. Jesus Christ warned us about these hypocrites repeatedly in His Word.

Matthew 7:15, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 7:16, Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matthew 7:17, Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.“

These religious leaders are not putting God first or His Kingdom because they are building their own kingdoms. All that they are building through their own efforts will be burned up as wood, hay and stubble. Only The Lord Himself can build His church, and then the gates of hell will no longer be able to prevail against it.

These charlatans preach an easy salvation without the conditions necessary for true conversion. These religious leaders and those who think that their salvation is easy and light need to have a fear of the living God. We have heard about a God that is of our own creation, but we need to study the Word and find the real Jesus Christ, and the real Gospel message.

Phil. 2:12, “ Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in My presence only, but now much more in My absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.“

The Word of God tells us that only those who obey God and endure to the end will be saved. The attainment of our salvation by Jesus Christ on the cross was not easy, and our denying ourselves, taking up our crosses and following Him will not be easy, but by The grace of God we can finish the race victoriously.

Tim. 2:12, “ Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;“
Our blessings are not automatic, but they are based on contingencies. These requirements are clearly stated by our Lord throughout The New Testament. Jesus commanded us to love Him first, to love even our enemies, and He said that if we loved Him; we would obey His commandments.

2 Tim. 3:12, Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Are you suffering persecution because of your walk with The Lord Jesus? Many true Christians throughout the world are suffering persecution because they follow the Lord. Many are being persecuted by the religious leaders and their many followers because they are preaching The pure and holy Word of God.

When you put God first; you will no longer be a man pleaser. If you are still trying to please people for your own purposes; you cannot be a servant of Jesus Christ.

Gal. 1:10, “For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.“

When we refuse to put God first and as Head in His church; the church will not have its needed power, authority and effectiveness. When we stop doing everything“our” way, and we start doing everything in the church His way; we will experience the magnificent, glorious power of God in The church. When The church becomes one, and it becomes all that God ordained it to be; the people of the world will know That Jesus Christ is The Son of almighty God. When they see Him and His love in His people; then they will believe and know The Lord Jesus Christ.

Many “religious” leaders want to make their own doctrines, their own rules, and their own methods which are no different from the ways of those who never knew The Lord Jesus Christ. These are those who believe that they are rich, well-dressed and they think that they know everything and can see, but Jesus says that they are poor, naked, miserable and blind. It is very sad because those who have so much of the world's goods, titles, prestige, money and power are unable to discern or understand their true condition. Jesus says to them:

Rev. 3:17, “ Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Rev. 3:18, I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.“

Jesus is giving these “Christians” wonderful advice, and He is even standing at the door of their hearts trying to come into their hearts and lives. They have ceased to put God first in their lives.
Wealth, prestige, possessions and power have turned their heads away from God. They think that they no longer need Him or His Truth. They have become very “prosperous”, but it is not the kind of prosperity that The Lord honors. God honors the prosperity found in a soul that is totally yielded to Him. God's prosperity consists of having a pure heart, a right spirit and clean hands before Him.

There are so many godly men, women and children who are humbly working out their own salvations with fear and trembling. They are following The Lord Jesus Christ every day, and seeking His Kingdom and His righteousness.

These are those who will go through much persecution because they have chosen to live a godly life and live righteously in a world that is completely opposed to living a pure and holy life.

Mat. 5:10, “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.“

These are those who have put God first, and they will be greatly blessed.

The Lord came to earth with nothing, He didn't have a place to lay His head and He was of no reputation. He came to set the supreme example for all of us as He said that we are to deny ourselves and take up our crosses and follow Him.

He had nothing, but He accomplished more than all others by laying down His life, and by putting His Father first. He only did what His Father gave Him to do. He had given up everything in order to fulfill God's glorious purposes.

We are called and commanded to do the same. It is not an easy salvation, but it is a great salvation that cost God and The Lord Jesus Christ everything. Through God; we can do all things and nothing that He requires will be impossible to those who believe and trust in Him. Real success is putting God first in every area of our lives.

Make sure your dog is not cloned! I wonder how many people would want to have cloned pets of their own.

Would you like to clone your own dog or even have a cloned pet dog yourself? What is your opinion for this?

The world's first cloned dog is in South Korea as the "king of cloning" by Woo Suk Hwang. He has cloned an Afgan hound. They said, they are not into business but for medical research purposes.

Who Invented The First Sunglasses?

Jacobs Field: The View Through Kevin's SunglassesImage by laffy4k via Flickr
The wearing of sunglasses has become as popular and as common as wearing such articles of clothing as hats, ties, and gloves. Sunglasses are often considered a necessity more than an accessory. Centuries ago they were worn only by the rich and even into the early 1900's only those of fame and fortune were seen wearing these special spectacles.

Tales of "sun cheaters", among other unusual names, were spoken of back in the time of the Roman Empire, when the Emperor would cover his eyes with bits of emerald to help shade the sun from his vision. Obviously the efforts that were utilized diminished the sun but did not protect the eyes from harmful rays. They actually lessened the clarity of what people were viewing.

Sometime in 12th Century China, the first sunglasses were a crude slab of smoked quartz that was made for only the very rich. The quartz slab soon progressed to a slab with a roughly shaped frame to help hold the quartz to the users face. Not only were these handy items used to block out the sun but they were also used to hide emotions from others when speaking with them. This was particularly handy for judges of that time, giving them an air of detachment from the topic being discussed as well as keeping their feelings hidden while questioning the accused.

As time went on, so did the progression of the appearance of sunglasses. Circa 1400, sunglasses were darkened and introduced into Italy via the Chinese. In the 18th century a man named James Ayscough was experimenting with sunglasses but not to help keep out the sun's rays but to help with improving vision for those with poor or failing eye sight. He believed that by changing the color of the lenses to a blue/green tint, he could help correct certain vision conditions.

But sunglasses did not become popular until the early 1920's, when the stars and starlets of Hollywood began using them to shield their eyes from the stage lights and the cameras' blinding flashbulbs. Mass production of sunglasses came about in the late 1920's, when a man named Sam Foster started his company, Foster Grant, in Atlantic City where the beach goers were a steady stream of sunglass sales..

The Army Air Corps were at the forefront of sunglass development when they approached an optical firm by the name of Bausch and Lomb to create effective eyeglasses to protect pilots from high altitude glare. In the mid 1930's Polaroid filters had been invented by Edwin H. Land (founder of the Polaroid Corporation) which now changed sunglasses from being an item to keep out the sun but also to that of a health aid because they now also protected the eyes from harmful UV rays. By the late 1930's when World War II was on the brink of exploding, anti-glare aviator glasses were being made for the fliers and a year later the same sunglass technology was available for the general public.

By the 1960's, sunglasses rose in popularity as a stunning fashion statement. In the 1970's sales were still steadily climbing and many fashion designers and stars of stage and screen came out with their own designs and styles. Sunglasses are attractive, practical, and are now available in every imaginable shape, size, and color. They are even available for infants and seniors and every age group in between. They have come a long way from bits of emerald and smoked quartz held up to the eyes to the beautiful designs we see today.

First World's Oldest Active Ocean-going Passenger Ship

"The world's Floating Library" - loved by many people around the world because of wonderful volunteered missionaries around the world! A 93 year old ship and still floating before its final retiring very soon as declared of its final tour in Australia 2009.

MV Doulos, Geelong Port , Victoria 2009
Image taken by: rechargelife.org at Geelong Port, Victoria 2009

Source: http://www.mvdoulos.org/

"Doulos was purchased in 1977 by GBA Ships e.V. (previously known as Good Books for All), a private, non-profit, charitable organisation registered in Germany. Over 20 million visitors have been welcomed on board for tours, programmes and visits to the floating book fair. With stops in over 500 ports of call, this unique ship has visited more than 100 countries in including Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and many island nations.

Doulos is recognised in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's oldest active ocean-going passenger ship."

MV Doulos ship is just 2 years younger of the well-known Titanic. My first experience to volunteer on the ship on board was way back June 2001 in San Fernando port, Philippines. It seemed countless of people came on board every day and it's not really a joke hectic serving thousands and thousands of people a day!

The photo above was taken at Geelong Port Australia. It's Doulos ship last sail to Australia before a new one will be rebuilt in God's time. Certainly, God's hands are upon it as it has been sailing for years around the globe doing its great mission to different culture and tribes by happy jolly volunteered missionaries and the captain.

The First World's Largest Monster Truck Limo

Truck LimoImage by dave_7 via Flickr

Can you imagine yourself riding around town in one of the largest and most unique limousine in the world?

That's what someone decided would be an incredible task. S.D.M. Industries created the largest monster truck limo in the world that is still legal on the streets. This ride would surely leave you breathless and up for just about anything because this vehicle comes in at a full 11 feet tall.

S.D.M. decided to give this monster truck limo a nice lift with a massive 24" lift underneath. Now, the complete length of the truck is coming in with a massive 36 feet long.

S.D.M. crew added a complete 14 feet onto the length of the monster truck limo. Consider stocking this monster truck with everything from a 27" TV to a complete surround system full of plenty of room for a bar, and plenty of mood lighting to accompany the stunning leather interior.

This monster truck limo cost a grand total of $250,000 to complete the modifications to.

This is one of the largest investments into any vehicle modification we have seen around the world. Can you imagine pulling up to your wedding in this magnificent piece?

This monster truck limo is definitely something to be proud of. It has a full weight of 7 tons of 14,000 pounds. Also this is one of the biggest and heaviest vehicles on the road for passenger use.

You can find more Limo Tips and the latest Limousine News at http://www.LimoQuoter.com.

First Largest Gold Vault in the World

Vault of GoldImage by Lawrence OP via Flickr

The largest gold vault in the world is located in New York City, just a few blocks from the tumultuous world of Wall Street. Many people walk by the Federal Reserve Bank everyday, with no idea that the subterranean vault holds more than 540,000 gold bars owned by 48 different countries as well as 12 international organizations.

The bank vault is deep underneath the city streets, and just the gold alone in the vault (it does hold other valuables) is valued at more than $200 billion. It is 30 feet beneath the subway system resting on bedrock about five stories underground. The gold in the New York City Federal Reserve Vault is greater than that of any vault in the world, including Fort Knox.

Surprisingly, the U.S. Government doesn't own much of the gold in this vault. Only approximately 5 percent of the U.S. supply is stored here, while most of it takes up residence at Fort Knox and in other locations throughout the country. The reserves stores all gold free of charge for its tenants, but the countries that deposit gold here must pay out $1.75 per bar when they are moved. Considering that this vault holds 25% of the world's gold reserve, which makes it the largest in the world, and even bigger than the yearly economy of the United Arab Emirates.

The building appears as any other office building in the area of the financial district, but the surface appearance actually hides what is more similar to a medieval fortress on the lowest three floors. These floors have large iron bars covering all of the windows, and there is a circular shaped tower up high on the building. Armed guards wander the surrounding area at all times with automatic weapons, deterring anyone from thinking of trying to pull any funny business. The gold vault is only accessible through a 10-foot passageway cut into the cylinder, which is made of 90 tons of steel and sits within a steel and concrete frame.

There are no cameras allowed in the vault, and people cannot take anything into the vault with them. With all of the cameras, walls, and guns, you would think it was secure enough. The vault is half the size of a football field and was lowered into the bedrock three years before the building was completed in 1924. It is surrounded by solid rock on all sides, and has a way to be sealed airtight and water tight if needed, as well. More than 180 tourists are led through the vault each day, so it's not a super secret place. However, it is the largest and most secure gold vault that you'll come across anywhere in the world.

World's First Noah's Ark in Ancient Time

Do you believe in the worldwide flood? I do believe it because of the fossils you can find in the mountain even in the caves or tunnels in the Philippines. This proves itself that we have had once a worldwide flood. If we read all the books in the world descibing the flood...including the Holy Scriptures, Torah and Quran mention about it all!

The Greatest Invention In History

Before we get to what is the greatest invention in the history of the world, we should visit Germany in 1447. In that time, a goldsmith and printer, Johannes Gutenberg, created the Gutenberg printing press. This technology spread like wildfire throughout Europe and then on to the rest of the world.

The impact of it is comparable to the invention of the alphabet and the development of writing.

Prior to the printing of books on a massive scale, books were painstakingly copied. This resulted in both fewer books and also more inaccurate books, because the copying of the original changed from one version to the next. In addition, since in Europe, Latin was the language of scholars, only a small population could even read them. When books were printed, popular European vernaculars were used to communicate to a wider audience.

Our next evolutionary leap was creating a medium of instant publication and a worldwide audience. This is the World Wide Web.

It may be as significant a leap in the consciousness of humankind as was Albert Einstein's revolutionary reinterpretation of the Universe. Despite the brilliance of Isaac Newton's work, the new theory of the Universe changed the consciousness of humankind forever.

The World Wide Web may very well be the greatest invention in history. Tim Berners-Lee has invented something that reminds one of a multifaceted diamond. When you look at each face, you discover a new reality.

One face of the World Wide Web is like The Glass Bead Game.

In his Nobel Prize winning novel, Magister Ludi, The Glass Bead Game, Hermann Hesse defined the nature of knowledge and intelligence in a beautiful metaphor. He described it as a game where pieces were played on a board.

"The Glass Bead Game is a mode of playing with the total contents and values of our culture. All the insights, noble thoughts and works of art that the human race has produced in its creative eras, all that subsequent periods of scholarly study have reduced to concept and converted into intellectual values, the Glass Bead Game player plays like an organist on an organ."

Like the Glass Bead Game, the World Wide Web ranges over the entire intellectual cosmos.

Another face of the World Wide Web is like the marketplace of Ancient Athens.
Here democracy evolved in its purest state. People talked to each other, shared information, challenged points-of-view, and understood each other. This informal gathering of thinkers birthed
one of the most significant early cultures of the Western World.

Because there are so many contributors to the World Wide Web, neither governments nor corporations nor media organizations have much control over it. Blogging, especially, has evolved to a place where absolute candor is possible. In addition, writers are free to wax eloquent in their pdf or exe files without waiting for somebody to approve the marketability of their ideas. Discussion groups for everything under the sun exist. Then there are the social networking websites, like You Tube and others, where all kinds of opinions are expressed through videos. Never in the history of humanity has it been possible for the common man or woman to speak their mind to so many people in complete freedom.

Another face of the World Wide Web is like The Great Books of the Western World series.

The quintessence of the value of that series has been captured by the original associate editor, the late Mortimer Adler.

He said that to read them was to be involved in a great conversation because it was like
"authors sitting around a table in the same room--totally oblivious to the circumstances of their own time, place and diversity of tongues--confronting each other in agreement, disagreement or otherwise differing about what they have to say on the subject. The sessions of the conference thus imagined would take many days, months, perhaps even years, for it would cover the whole range of ideas and issues that are the objects and concerns of human understanding, always and everywhere."

As you surf from one website to another, from one discussion board to another, or as you communicate instantly by email, is this not like a great conversation that informs your mind and feeds your soul?

Finally, another face of the World Wide Web is like A Global Brain.

Philosophers from Plato to Aristotle, from Thomas Aquinas to Herbert Spencer have always considered knowledge to be a unity, where everything is potentially connectable to everything else. The human brain is a powerhouse of networks of infinite complexity, where every neuron has the potentiality to connect with every other. Similarly, knowledge itself, as described by writer James Burke, is "a gigantic and ever-growing sphere in space and time, made up of millions of interconnecting, crisscrossing pathways."

Knowledge has never been so linked together as it is now on the World Wide Web.

The World Wide Web is growing organically, like a great shout of unity across the world. Perhaps each day, we who use it, are reinventing the freedom of speech that once existed in ancient Athens, a freedom which will lead to a whole new world of creativity for everyone.
