When was the first domain name system born?

In July 23, 1983 Paul Mockapetris, Craig Partridge, Jon Postel were the pioneers of the domain naming system or replacing numerical Internet addresses with English-language "domains". DNS was created, one of the greatest additions to IP addresses that identifies each Internet users in the world today including yours!
